Previously, Diana taught art to teens with behavioral disorders in her twenties, and during this time a groundbreaking program based on “no failure” was conceived. While collaborating with the on-site psychiatrist she discovered that free artistic expression allowed traumas and conflicts to surface safely and without judgment in various art mediums. Afterwards her group of students won national recognition in the Special Arts Awards.
